Veysonnaz is part of the "4 vallées" ski area - the largest ski area in Switzerland.
The 4 vallées area includes the resorts of Verbier, Nendaz, Thyon, La Tzoumaz and Veysonnaz.
The apartment is a five minute level walk from the Veysonnaz telecabine, one of the closest apartments to the telecabine in the resort. The eight-seater telecabine takes you up in about ten minutes to Thyon 2000, a resort higher up the mountain. From there, there are numberous chairlifts and tows that link into the rest of the Printze ski area, or the larger 4 vallées ski area.
The Printze area benefits from generally good snow conditions - the area is on the south side of the Rhone valley, and snow lasts longer than those resorts on the north side of the valley such as Crans-Montana. Many of the runs in the ski area have snow cannons, so snow cover on these runs is guaranteed. The long red run from Thyon 2000 back down to Veysonnaz has a lovely wide piste, great views, and a couple of nice restaurants.
